Medicare is Federal Health Insurance for people Over 65. It is primarily for America’s seniors, but also some people under age 65 with certain disabilities and those of any age with end stage renal disease.

There are mainly 4 types of Medicare. Part A, Part B, Part C & Part D.

Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) Part A covers inpatient hospital stays, care in a skilled nursing facility, hospice care, and some home health care.
Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) covers, including doctor and other health care providers’ services and outpatient care.
Part C is also known as the Medicare Advantage plan, and it works as a substitute for Original Medicare.
Part D (Medicare drug coverage) helps cover cost of prescription drugs, may lower your costs and protect against higher costs.
